Shelby’s expression is centered around memory, fantasy, and desire. Her greatest sources of inspiration include Van Gogh and impressionist painters, nature, and human connection.

Shelby believes in the power of transformation, and her work channels metamorphosis and transformational energies. 

Her artwork features vibrant, fluorescent hues from magenta to lime greens to the brightest of blues. Shelby channels whimsy and striking color combinations, with hopes of inspiring viewers to be their most authentic selves.

She combines her love of gardening, learning, and creation and packages it into the collective known as 15 Sunflowers Studio & Gardens.
