How long do commissioned works take?

3

Depending on size, detail, and scale, project timelines vary. Project time estimates will be established and included in commission contract. A deposit is required to begin the project, and the timeline will progress once deposit is received. Any money deposited will be credited toward total project costs.

There may be occasions a “rushed” contract may be available. Please note, requiring project delivery sooner than 2-3 weeks will require higher deposit fee. Most projects will take between 2-3 weeks and 2-3 months.

I sent my request via the Commissions’ tab form. Should I go ahead and pay the deposit fee?

Unless you have received a confirmation email, including an invoice and contract, please wait on submitting your deposit. Deposits are non-refundable, though they are credited towards your commission’s cost. Contracts are signed by both the artist and purchaser.

I received my contract, agreed to all terms, and sent it back signed. I’ve paid my deposit. What’s next?

Congratulations! It is so exciting to bring your vision to life. Pay close attention to product deadlines and payment schedules.

For larger commissions, payment may be contractually tied to progress. For instance, at beginning of project the initial deposit is required to begin work. If stated in your Commissions contact, additional “deposits” may be required at 50% and 75% completion before a final payment when final product is ready for shipment or local delivery.

If you have concerns at any point in the process, please contact via email. The artist will respond within 24 hours.
